Version 1.0.9 Released - Changelog.
Greetings, Adventurers!
The ACSG version 1.0.9 is now available, bringing important new features and fixes!
Version Highlight: New Mission System
The biggest addition in this version is a complete and integrated Mission System, which uses the concept of Positions (Map + Page) to define the entire flow: Rescue (where to accept), Action (where to complete the objective), and Delivery (where to finalize and receive the reward).
This system is accompanied by specific mission types (covering most RPG needs), and I developed it in a modular way to facilitate future expansions and the inclusion of new gameplay ideas. It also includes descriptions for active/partially completed states, and much more.
- Automatic Counters: For quantity-based missions (defeating a group of enemies or collecting items), the system displays counters for defeated enemies or retrieved items directly in the mission title, helping the player track progress.
- Organization and Filtering: Missions are displayed Ingame separated into Main Missions and Side Missions. For player control, I added a filter option to Show/Hide Completed Missions, as well as a completed mission counter.
- Project Limits: The mission system is available in both versions, but with different limits:
- FREE Version: Allows up to 6 missions per project.
- PREMIUM Version: Allows up to 99 missions per project.
- Interface Customization and Visibility:
- Customization: As is standard in ACSG, you can modify the visuals of the new interface images. The new Ingame mission screen can also be viewed and edited in the Interfaces -> Config session, allowing you to change the fonts (Missions list, "Show Completed" checkbox, Completed Missions Counter, and the interface opening button) in terms of name, color, and size.
- Visibility: The button to open the mission screen Ingame (a small button with the letter "Q") is only shown if the project has at least one mission created. This ensures a clean interface if the feature isn't being used.
Mission creation and editing screen:
Quick Access: Ingame, missions are opened by clicking this button:
Visualization: When opened, missions are presented like this:

- Automatic Migration: When opening an old project in version 1.0.9, the program will automatically copy the new images to the correct location in your project directory, preparing everything for immediate use.
Join Our Community on Discord
It took a while, but the good news is that our official Discord server is live!
I focused the server on clarity and text communication — a "Tower of Babel" would be useless! To ensure everyone understands each other, I installed a translation bot that will be available to all. Use it whenever you need language help.
We have simple rules and well-defined channels (such as #support
and #showcase
). Please read the rules and direct your topics to the appropriate channels. If I am not online to respond immediately, leave your questions there. I will always be monitoring!
Mutual respect and good use of the channels are the key to our community's success.
See, now you can access the ACSG Discord directly from the program:
See you there!
General Fixes and Improvements
I worked on internal improvements and fixes to make the development experience more stable and faster:
Essential Fixes (Bug Fixes)
- Interface Font Flickering: After the introduction of advanced font customization in version 1.0.8, I noticed that, when walking very quickly through a scenario, the fonts in the side bar (attributes, inventory, etc.) could exhibit small flicks (ingame tremors). This has been fixed, ensuring the visual stability of the interface.
- Enemy List Loading: I fixed a failure on the Map Properties screen where the enemy list was loaded incrementally, duplicating its size with each screen opening. Although this did not affect gameplay, it was generating enormous lists that compromised the system's performance in editing mode.
Performance Improvements
- Code Optimization: I implemented general code improvements, aiming to increase the overall performance and flexibility of the system.
Documentation and Update
- Updated Manual: The manual has been completely reviewed and updated to reflect all changes and new features in version 1.0.9.
- How to Update Your Project: To migrate your old project to the new version, simply install ACSG 1.0.9 and open your project. The program will handle the entire migration process automatically.
- Recommendation: It is highly recommended that you accept the option to update the Manual when prompted by the program.
I hope you like the news, and I count on everyone's support! 👍
All the best and have fun! ✨🚀🎮
