Version 1.0.7 of ACSG has arrived, bringing new features and essential fixes to improve your creations!

What's New in Version 1.0.7

Enemy Types 

A new feature has been added to the Enemies section: the TYPES sub-section. Here you can create and manage custom categories, such as "Beast," "Elemental," "Undead," "Humanoid," or any other that suits your project. Afterwards, in the Entities sub-section, you can assign a type to each enemy.

Optional Assignment: Assigning a type to an entity is optional but highly recommended to take full advantage of the system.



In-Combat Visibility: The enemy type will be displayed right below their name during combat, providing important visual information for players.

Class Bonus



The type system already has a powerful and functional implementation! As seen in the image below, by setting a value greater than zero in a specific field and choosing an enemy type, your character's class will inflict an additional percentage of damage to all enemies of that type.

Message Display Commands 

The Message Display has received new commands that allow you to load and show information about any enemy, which is perfect for creating features like an in-game bestiary. (Detailed information in the Manual)

Web Links on INTERFACE BUTTONS

It is now possible to define buttons that, when clicked, open a web link in the player's default browser. To use this feature, simply start the button's text with the command @WEB: followed by the address and the correct protocol ("http://" or "https://"). The editor will automatically hide the command and display only the address in the game. It is important to remember that the MAP and PAGE fields must be filled with any value (with the exception of MAP:000 and PAG:000), since the system ignores them when processing the link. (Detailed information in the Manual)

Improvements and Bug Fixes

The $$$FNA Command (Message Display Command): I fixed a bug in the $$$FNA command that prevented font changes more than once in the same call, generating an error. Furthermore, compound font names could show part of the command itself (a part of the font name, for example) in the printout. Now it works perfectly!

Skills Interface: The class bonus and proficiency are now displayed on the skills interface. Previously, this information was only visible during character creation, but now it's accessible to the player at any time.

  • Attention: The default image for the skills interface has been updated to accommodate this new content. Remember that you can change all of the program's interfaces, and this mention serves as a reminder to pay attention to this detail in case you have created your own image for the skills interface background.


Updated Manual: The manual has been completely revised and updated to reflect all the changes and new features in version 1.0.7.

How to Update Your Project

To update your old project, simply install the new version and open it. The program will handle the entire migration process automatically.

  • Recommendation: It is highly recommended that you accept the option to update the Manual when prompted.
